Donovan Davis has been working with the Ministry of Health since August 1996. He served as an Accountant in the Central Project Unit for over five years before moving on to the Administration Department, where he spent four years as Administrator. As a Professional Level 3, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Mr. Davis returned to the Financial Management and Accounting Services Division as Financial Management Information System (FMIS) Manager, in 2005. He is the Ministry’s Financial Analyst and, quite fittingly, functions as the Budget Specialist on the Inter-Disciplinary Transition Team (IDTT). Mr. Davis’ qualifications include ACCA certification as an Accounting Technician; and certified proficiency in Business Studies. He is a volunteer with the Jamaica Red Cross, where, as a member of the Fund Raising Committee, his skills are fully utilized.
