The Mission of the Council is to:

License and regulate the practice of specified professionals allied to medicine, ensuring high standards of professional practice and ethics by:

• Examining the eligibility of applicants for registration.

• Registering persons seeking employment within the relevant professions.

• Monitoring professional standards of patient-care delivery and conduct.

• Investigating complaints of illegal/unethical practices related to the professions.
